The model is based on the idea that destinations should not operate as fragmented tourism services but as integrated ecosystems where accommodation, experiences, events and local partnerships function within a single coordinated system.
Following extensive research and development processes conducted in Bali, the NEXXAM ecosystem model began to be implemented within the destination.
